I love to shop at needlepoint and yarn stores. But I was frustrated by how hard it was to find stores when I traveled. Now, with my Travel Guide and website, it's easy! |
Welcome
Welcome to ShopYarn.com, the travelers' site for finding and discussing yarn & needlepoint shops. We work hard to make this the most accurate, up-to-date shop listing anywhere. Please help us keep it that way - let us know if you find a shop missing or information that's out of date. And use this site to discuss your travels, the shops you find, and the books you read along the way. And since new shops are always opening, sign up for our new shop newsletter . We'll send you a monthly update of new shops we've found across the USA.

Planning the 2009 Edition of Our Travel Guide
Our Travel Guide has a new name, Fiber Mania! A Travel Guide for people who do things with strings. Special thanks and congratulations to the two creative people who won our “Name the Travel Guide Contest:” Melinda Mayronne and Melissa Zucker It’s still spring, but we’re already hard at work on the 2009 edition. It will be more compact and more convenient to carry when traveling. Our new layout is great-looking and we can list more shops than ever. By popular demand, the 2009 edition will also include cross-stitch and embroidery shops. Every shop is coded by the types of fibers and merchandise they carry. These are exciting times for fiber enthusiasts, and even more so for us! -Michele
